Watch: Kim Kardashian walk catwalk at Balenciaga Haute Couture
Kim Kardashian swapped the front row for the runway on Wednesday as she made her Haute Couture catwalk debut at Paris Fashion Week.
The reality TV star, 41, took a leaf out of her younger sister Kendall Jenner’s book and took on the mantle of model on Wednesday as she walked in the Balenciaga Haute Couture fashion show.
The mother-of-four took to the catwalk in an off-the-shoulder gown in her now-signature vinyl fabric. The floor-length dress featured a flattering sweetheart neckline and daring scooped back.
The long sleeves continued into gloves, as has become a signature for Balenciaga, and the dress’ train featured a gathered side section, which allowed the showgoers to see the exaggerated heel of her black court shoes.
The visit for Paris Fashion Week marks the first time Kardashian has returned to the French capital for the first time since she was held at gunpoint in a robbery in 2016.
The media mogul was joined by a selection of celebrities and models on the catwalk in the French capital.
Supermodel faces from Bella Hadid to Naomi Campbell were joined by famous faces from across the celebrity sphere.
Singer Dua Lipa and Selling Sunset reality TV star Christine Quinn also made their couture debuts at the fashion show in Paris.
Balenciaga and its creative director Demna Gvasalia are known for their quirky spins on current fashion trends, and it's ready-to-wear collections have long been sported by celebrities.
Bringing the famous faces into the couture sphere is the logical next step in closing the gap, and making the presentations more approachable.
