Khloe Kardashian hides Instagram comments after backlash over airbrushed selfie
Khloe Kardashian was forced to turn off her Instagram comments section after social media users dubbed the reality star “unrecognisable” in her latest selfie.
On Monday (September 30), the 35-year-old posted a highly-edited throwback photograph of herself alongside the caption: “Old photo but I like it”.
In the image, Kardashian can be seen smiling at the camera in front of a pink-tinged background.
Soon enough, fans took to Twitter to call out the ‘Keeping Up with The Kardashians’ star for photoshopping the image.
“Khloe Kardashian literally looks like CGI in this,” one wrote.
A second user agreed, adding: “Why photoshop yourself that you’re not even recognisable?”

Following the backlash, the mother-of-one posted a cryptic illustration of a heart on her page alongside a number of inspirational quotes on Instagram Stories.
According to reports, one read: “If you have the chance to make people happy, just do it. Sometimes people are struggling silently. Maybe, your act of kindness can make their day.”
But American televisions’ ‘First Family’ are slowly beginning to show a more relatable side to their high-profile lives via social media.

Back in August, Kourtney Kardashian was widely praised online for sharing an untouched swimsuit shot with her stretch marks proudly on display.
The mother-of-three posted a photograph of herself in a chic thigh-high black swimsuit via her new lifestyle brand Poosh’s Instagram account and fans were quick to thank the businesswoman for showing her “beauty marks”.
“Thank you for being real,” one follower wrote. “We should be proud of our war wounds from our beautiful babies.”
Another also praised the eldest of the Kardashian clan, adding: “Now that is a real woman with the marks to prove it!”
