Kendall Jenner Earns Her Victoria’s Secret Wings, Jourdan Dunn Slams The Fashion Show As “BS”

After Gigi Hadid revealed she was the newest Victoria’s Secret fashion show recruit, we all wondered why the other model-of-the-minute, Kendall Jenner, had been ignored.
But we can relax. Jenner is going to be joining Hadid in the high-profile show, which will air on December 8.
The model, who turned 20 yesterday, chose to wait until her birthday to reveal the news – or perhaps she was only given the job yesterday.

She posted a drawing of herself and Hadid dressed as “Victoria’s Secret Service” agents with the caption, “The best birthday present EVER! always been one of my biggest dreams to be on this catwalk. @victoriassecret ’s newest recruits. Oh and I get to do it with my best friend.”
Hadid also posted the same pic, writing, “YESSS Newest Recruits @VictoriasSecret @kendalljenner #vsfashionshow2015 (sic).”

Being cast in this show proves how far both Hadid and Jenner have come in the last few years.
This year alone, the duo have walked in some of the biggest fashion shows including Balmain, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiguer and Versace and have been on the cover of numerous magazines. Plus, they’ve attended THE hottest parties.

The 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will definitely be worth watching – we’re practically counting down the days.
It’ll include performances from Selena Gomez and The Weeknd and other models walking include Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge.

Rihanna was scheduled to perform but has been replaced by Ellie Goulding, for reasons that are yet to be explained.
And there’s a little more drama to add to the mix. Model Jourdan Dunn tweeted yesterday that she’s happy she’s not walking in the “BS” show, after Rihanna pulled out.
“Feeling so much better about not doing BS… sorry I mean VS now that Rihanna isn’t doing it also,” the 25-year-old British model wrote. She obviously realised the tweet was a little too vicious and quickly deleted it – but not before it was retweeted and circulated by a number of her fans.

It’s a bizarre attack from Dunn, who walked in the show from 2012-2015. Perhaps she’s miffed that she wasn’t asked to return for this year’s presentation or maybe there’s a little bad blood with the organisers.
Twitter users have been speculating that Jenner replaced Dunn, as her announcement came on the same day as Dunn’s tweet.
Whatever the case, it’s set to be a show to remember.
