Katy Perry Sang Along When Taylor Swift Performed "Bad Blood" at The Eras Tour
No more drama between these two.
Taylor Swift once said that "Band-aids don't fix bullet holes" — but at the very least, time heals all wounds. Katy Perry further proved that any drama between her and Swift is a thing of the past, as she supported her pop star friend by going to The Eras Tour stop in Sydney, Australia, on Friday and behaving like a true Swiftie.
The "Roar" singer took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos, the first of which featured a selfie of her with Swift sharing big smiles for the camera. In videos from the night out, Perry danced and sang along to songs with Rita Ora by her side in the VIP section and even recorded a video of her excitedly singing along to "Bad Blood," largely believed to be about their past feud.
As a quick refresher, rumors circulated that Perry poached some of the "Anti-Hero" singer's dancers to join her on her Prismatic World Tour. Swift confirmed she fell out with a friend over business matters, telling Rolling Stone in September of 2014, "She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me." ("Bad Blood" came out a month after the interview.) Perry ended said feud in 2018 after sending Swift a literal olive branch with an apology note, and the pair later hugged it out while dressed as a cheeseburger and fries in 2019's "You Need to Calm Down" video.
During Perry's night out, she also collected friendship bracelets from Swifties (Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce also wore a friendship bracelet to the show) and shared several looks at her two-piece ensemble, a chic pinstripe vest, and matching pants set accessorized with silver chunky jewelry. "Got to see an old friend shine tonight ♥️✨," she captioned the post.
