Katie Price shares exciting baby announcement - 'The best news ever'
Katie Price has shared her excitement at the news of her sister Sophie's pregnancy. Sophie, 34, who co-hosts Katie's podcast The Katie Price Show, took to Instagram to reveal that she is expecting her second child.
Sharing a picture of herself, her partner Harry and their son Albert, Sophie wrote: "Round two...Due November 2024 #pregnant #secondtrimester #babydue2024." This post was then shared by Katie, 45, onto her own Instagram Story, where she added the text: "I'm going to be an auntie again [three heart emojis]"
Katie was also among the social media users commenting directly on Sophie's post, where she wrote: "The best news ever I get to become a auntie again [three heart emojis]"
Sophie married her long-time partner Harry in 2022, having been together for 12 years before then. The couple then welcomed their first son Albert back in 2021.
The podcast star's exciting baby news comes just days after Katie, 45, addressed pregnancy rumours of her own. The reality star set the record straight on The Katie Price Show, where she slammed these reports.
"In the papers, they're like 'pregnancy rumours' because I've got signs of bloating. And I'm like 'what an insult,'" she said. In the clip, which she shared on her Instagram, Katie showed off her flat stomach, which was noticeably absent of a baby bump, as she quipped: "See, no airbrushing there."
Katie is currently dating Married at First Sight UK star JJ Slater, having gone public with their relationship just two months prior. According to sources close to Katie and JJ, the couple have shared that they are certainly planning to eventually welcome a little one.
An insider told The Sun: "She's happy and she has always said she wants even more children so that's what she's aiming for. She knows she doesn't have much time if she wants to try.
"Katie has always fallen pregnant quite easily in the past, but now she is older, she worried it might not happen as quickly, so she doesn't want to wait until it's too late."
"Katie knows some people will think it's too soon with JJ but she doesn't care what other people think she's confident in their relationship and thinks he'd be a great dad. Katie desperately wants another baby. JJ is young and fit and, despite his age, he's up for it and wants to be a dad."
