Katie Price’s mega pantomime salary revealed
Katie Price is reportedly being paid an impressive five-figure salary for her role in a pantomime, in which she stars alongside Kerry Katona. The media personality, who was declared bankrupt for a second time back in March over an unpaid tax bill of over £700,000, is currently playing one of the wicked step-sisters in Cinderella at Northwich Memorial Court.
Katie, 46, is reportedly being paid handsomely for the gig, with The Sun claiming that she is receiving £50,000 from the production. An insider told the publication: "Katie knows her worth and she won't take a penny less. "Despite everything she's a shrewd negotiator and her name still has some pull when it comes to booking gigs. The panto organisers are thrilled with the response to Katie and Kerry being in the show so far and in their eyes it's money well spent." OK! has reached out to Katie Price for comment.
The Northwich pantomime announced in September that Katie would be joining Kerry in the upcoming show, with the pair playing Cinderella's wicked step-sisters - and breaking records for ticket sales. The theatre wrote on Instagram: "Since our casting news broke earlier this evening, we have sold the highest number of tickets that we’ve ever sold in a single day during our last 14 years in Northwich!"

In August, Katie appeared in bankruptcy court via video link after racking up a hefty tax debt of £761,994.05, with a judge agreeing to adjourn the hearing to allow her lawyers to attend a 'private interview' with barristers representing the trustee of her bankruptcies. The former glamour model had been arrested earlier in the month after failing to appear in court - and was later bailed by an out-of-hours magistrate.
Meanwhile, Katie's co-star Kerry was recently spotted holding hands with another Cinderella cast member. Just weeks after splitting from fiancé Ryan Mahoney, the 44-year-old was seen walking hand-in-hand with one of her co-stars, before giving him a kiss on the cheek as they made their way across the Northwich Memorial Court carpark.
Taking to her weekly OK! column, the mother-of-five revealed that she had split from her partner of six years Ryan. While she previously said the pair were working through things, Kerry added that Ryan had moved out of their Cheshire mansion after a breach of trust happened between them.
In November, she said: "Last week I spoke about how Ryan and I were having a tough time and now he has moved out of the house. We are no longer together and It’s been a really tough week - I never in a million years thought this would happen."
