Katherine Ryan doesn't share a bed with her husband
Comedian Katherine Ryan has revealed that she prefers to sleep in her daughter's bedroom than share a bed with her husband.
Ryan – whose Netflix series The Duchess premieres tomorrow – entered into a civil partnership with her childhood sweetheart Bobby Koostra last year, after they reconnected. But, she told the Radio Times, she has continued to sleep in her 11-year-old daughter Violet's room on a camp bed.
'I still sleep in my daughter’s room in her sleepover bed. I don’t sleep in my bed with my husband,' she said, candidly revealing that the pair have worked out a schedule to ensure intimacy remains intact in the bedroom. 'We have sex at 10am when the kids are at school,' Ryan added.

After splitting with Violet's father nine years ago, the Canadian comedian has largely raised her daughter alone, citing previous partners' demanding behaviour as the reason why she's remained largely single since then.
She said her new relationship with Koostra worked so well because 'he didn’t do the other things that I’d experienced in relationships'.
'He didn’t demand undivided attention, he was not in competition with my daughter,' she told the Radio Times, adding the close mother-daughter bond the two share – which Ryan semi-autobiographically plays out on screen in The Duchess – will always be her top priority, regardless of her relationship status.
Watch Katherine Ryan in The Duchess from Friday 11th September on Netflix.
