Kate Middleton's sell-out £29.50 M&S trainers are back for autumn

The 'Kate effect' is well known by now – whenever the Duchess of Cambridge wears something, particularly from the high street, it's bound to sell out almost instantly.

This was definitely the case when Kate Middleton wore an affordable pair of Marks & Spencer trainers back in February 2020. The duchess wore the brand's £29.50 M&S Collection Lace Up Ribbon Detail Trainer for a royal engagement at the London Stadium, one of her last before the pandemic hit a month later.

The chic white trainers with side-stripe green and beige detailing – which Kate paired with high-waisted tailored trousers – promptly flew off the shelves.

Since then, M&S has kept bringing the popular shoes back in new colours, including in silver and navy back in March of this year.

Now, Kate's sell-out trainers are back in stock yet again, this time in their most wearable colourway yet...
