Kaia Gerber's parents are trying to help Pete Davidson through a "difficult time", apparently
Kaia Gerber's parents Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber are apparently doing everything in their power to help her boyfriend Pete Davidson through a difficult time.
Pete and Kaia went public with their relationship in mid-November, with Kaia since wearing a 'P' necklace around her neck.
Kaia Gerber and Pete Davidson's relationship might have come as a surprise to some fans, but it looks like it's the real deal. So much so, that her parents, model Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, are currently trying to help the comedian through a tough time, apparently.
Fans first started to share their worries for Pete when he spoke about checking into a rehab facility during one of his recent shows. Via Cosmopolitan US, Pete said that he was "going on ‘vacation' but insurance pays for some of it, and they take your phone and shoelaces. And it costs $100,000 but I still have roommates."
According to an E! source, "It's been a very stressful and concerning few days" for Kaia's family, and while it's unclear exactly why, the insider says Kaia's parents felt the need to intervene.
"Cindy and Rande wanted to be there for Kaia and supportive of her," the source continued. "They are very involved and loving parents and they would do anything for her. They stepped in to try and guide her and to help Pete through a difficult time" since they know "how troubled he [Pete] is and how much he is struggling."
This is all unconfirmed speculation, though, since none of Kaia, Pete, Cindy or Rande have spoken publicly about what he's going through.
"They tried to intervene and offer what they could," the insider added. "It's been upsetting for Kaia and for them to see their daughter dealing with something so serious. Their only choice is to support her and help guide her through this. They are just thinking about Pete getting better and nothing beyond that."
Here's to hoping Pete gets help if he needs it.
