Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler have reportedly split after 3 years
Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler have broken up after over three years of dating, according to multiple outlets.
TMZ (who broke the news) spoke to sources who said the pair ended their relationship "around the end of 2024" and noted there is "no bad blood" between them. As for why they split, apparently "the relationship just simply ran its course."
Back in May 2024, a source spotted Kaia and Austin on a date and spilled to People that “Kaia and Austin are going strong. They held hands the entire way to dinner and stopped and hugged a few times before going into a club. They definitely looked happy and in love.”
The pair have stayed pretty private throughout their relationship (aside from red carpet appearances), which Kaia explained during an interview with WSJ Magazine, saying, "Honestly, I feel like so few things in my life are private, and that is one of the things that I try to keep as sacred as possible.”
Meanwhile, back in 2022 Austin told GQ “I don’t think there’s anything I want to share about that. But thank you for providing the space.”
These two haven't commented on their breakup as of yet, and given their preference for privacy, seems unlikely they will anytime soon! They were last seen together in October.
