Junior Andre leaves fans in tears with heartwarming snap after rushing to be by grandma's side
Junior Andre has just returned from a trip to Australia with his sister Princess, as the teenagers visited their paternal grandparents, Thea and Savvas. Thea, who is mum to their dad Peter Andre, has been diagnosed with vascular dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
And now they have returned home, 18 year old Junior has shared a post to Instagram from the trip, leaving fans emotional as he included a sweet video with his elderly grandmother. In the clip, he is sitting on the edge of Thea's bed and plants a kiss on her head before rubbing his face into her and repeatedly kissing, while Thea laughs.
The heartwarming moment had some fans in tears as they took to the comment section, with one writing: "Oh my God your Granny the smiling when you kiss her head brought tears to my eyes as I lost my 95 yr old aunt yesterday reminded me of her. God bless you for being such a fab grandson - family is everything."
Another echoed: "Picture 6…no words…my whole heart is bursting. I hope my grandchildren treat me the same way."
Junior also included a number of snaps with his 16 year old sister as they enjoyed some quality time together Down Under, where they also caught up with their aunt, Peter's sister Debbie, and their cousin, her son Savandy, also 16.
While the comment section was filled with well-wishes, no one could be prouder of Junior and his sister Princess than their dad Peter. The Mysterious Girl singer hailed them as 'amazing' as they headed to Australia just days after travelling to see their new baby sister, with Peter becoming a dad for the fifth time.
Peter has been open about his worry for Thea and Savvas as their health declines, and Junior also took to his stories to provide an update after visiting. One fan asked: "How was Australia and your gran?" as Junior responded: "Can I just say, Australia is actually the best country ever.
"Every time I go there, I want to live there. It's so beautiful, the weather is nice all year round, the people are nice and funny, the wildlife is wild.
"It's great, obviously my grandparents live out there and I've got some family out there, it was really nice to see them. Obviously it's sad they're growing old but that's life isn't it, that's literally what happens. I'm gonna grow old one day. But yeah, it was just really nice catching up with them. So much love, so much love."
