Julianne Moore looks effortlessly chic in autumnal tones
The Oscar and Emmy award-winning actress, Julianne Moore (who's perhaps best known for her roles in Game Change and Still Alice) is no stranger to a chic outfit choice.
And last night, appearing on the red carpet in New York, Julianne Moore showed just how versatile an autumn/winter wardrobe can be.
With her copper red hair sweeping past her shoulders, the Hollywood actress aced the smart-casual look as she layered a vibrant red jumper over a camel coloured shirt and trousers.
Julianne was seen attending a conversation about film May December with actor Josh Horowitz in New York City last night (30 November). Also in attendance was Julianne's co-star, Oscar-winner Natalie Portman.
May December - which is now showing in select cinemas - follows the story of a couple (one half played by Julianne Moore) as they navigate married life, twenty years on from their all-consuming and notorious tabloid romance.
When a Hollywood actress (played by Natalie Portman) meets the pair two decades on, while conducting research for a film about their dark past, pressure mounts and the couple's marriage begins to buckle.
The film is part-inspired by the real-life story of Mary Kay Letourneau, a rape case which dominated headlines in the 1990s.
Speaking to Forbes about her latest role, Julianne said: "I think this is a movie that’s very much about storytelling - about stories that we tell ourselves and our refusal to look at our own lives, sometimes."
