Jorgie Porter announces engagement to Ollie Piotrowski
Jorgie Porter is engaged to her boyfriend Ollie Piotrowski.
The Hollyoaks star announced the news on Instagram on Sunday night by sharing a selfie of herself and Ollie, who can be seen planting a kiss on her cheek as she proudly displays her new ring.
In the caption, Jorgie simply wrote "OMG" and added a ring emoji.
Sharing the same snap on her Instagram Stories, she added, "He did it.... my forever!!!"
The 33-year-old actress was inundated with supportive messages from her followers and fellow celebrities, including Hollyoaks co-star Chelsee Healey, who wrote on her Instagram Stories, "Congratulations my girl @themissyporter."
Jorgie also received comments from the likes of Denise van Outen, Helen Flanagan, Bake Off's Candice Brown, co-star Stephanie Waring, and former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton.
The Dancing on Ice star went public with her relationship with Ollie during an episode of her podcast Loose Lips in October last year.
The engagement news comes shortly after Jorgie revealed in November that she suffered a miscarriage when she was around 14 weeks into her pregnancy with quadruplets in August.
"I'd not had any sign that things weren't OK. No pain or bleeding, I was getting bigger, my boobs were growing, I had so much hair on my body and I still felt pregnant," Jorgie told Fabulous magazine. "When the consultant performed the scan then said: 'You've miscarried,' I was in total shock."
She added that the devastating experience has made her relationship with Ollie even stronger, saying, "If we can get through this, we can get through anything."
