Jeremy Clarkson shaken as Kaleb Cooper treated by medics after horror machinery accident
Jeremy Clarkson was left utterly shaken when an accident on his Diddly Squat Farm resulted in young farmer and fan favourite Kaleb Cooper requiring emergency medical attention.
This alarming incident is featured in a trailer for the upcoming series of Clarkson's Farm, which will be returning next month for a thrilling third instalment. Anticipation is high as the sneak-peek offers a taste of what Season 3 has in store, showing everything from porcine additions to the farmyard mix, strategic planning meetings and plenty of hard graft.
As ever, charismatic sidekick Kaleb, 25, is seen by Jeremy's side throughout. In one particularly nerve-racking scene, we see Kaleb topple over whilst attached to machinery via a harness out in the field. Falling towards a hefty piece of equipment, his pained grunt is heard as he hits the ground.
Tense moments follow as Jeremy, who appears to have been operating a JCB at the time, is seen reacting to the unfolding events. His stunned "S***! " is clearly audible in the clip as he leaves the vehicle to investigate.
As he and Lisa keep vigil while Kaleb receives onsite medical help, Jeremy suggests: "We've got to get rid of all health and safety equipment off the farm. It's truly injuring people."
The upcoming season of Diddly Squat is set to be a rollercoaster, as the synopsis reveals: "The third series [finds] Diddly Squat facing some seriously daunting challenges. The crops are failing in the severe hot weather, inflation has driven prices of supplies sky high, dreams for the beloved restaurant are dashed and now the farm shop also faces closure."
"Jeremy urgently needs to come up with creative new ways of making ends meet, so hatches a plan to turn a profit from hundreds of acres of unfarmed land - thick woodland and hedgerows that make up half of Diddly Squat. This triggers an avalanche of Clarkson-crafted schemes, involving everything from goats and pigs to mushrooms, nettles and deer."
"Someone new arrives to Diddly Squat, which puts Kaleb's nose out of joint - as well as the returning characters all working to help Jeremy's farming ambitions come to fruition," the synopsis for the upcoming season concludes.
Earlier this year, Jeremy opened up about his own health battles after undergoing an operation in October 2023. The Grand Tour star said that he'd had a 5cm cyst removed from his back, telling The Sun: "I did actually lose a stone though — mind you, half of that was probably the cyst.
"But it wasn’t cancer. It was never going to be cancerous though — I wasn’t in the mood."
Clarkson's Farm will be back for its third season on Prime Video from May 3.
