The coronavirus outbreak has put a temporary halt on many of our everyday plans.
For some, these plans aren’t just mild inconveniences but events that have been months - even years - in the making.
There are many celebrities having to alter their big plans, too. The latest being Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s wedding day.
The pair aren’t the first to have to put their plans on hold with Princess Beatrice and Mario Falcone among the celebrities who have had their wedding days moved.

In a virtual interview with Ellen Degeneres, Jennifer Lopez said that her big day was “affected a little bit” by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Honestly, I really don't know what's going to happen now, as far as dates or anything like that. We're just kind of in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. So, again, it's something we're just going to have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out.” The singer admitted.
The couple got engaged a little over a year ago while they were on holiday in the Bahamas.
Degeneres suggested a TikTok wedding might be the best way to go, given JLo’s success on the social media platform.
“It’s something to think about.” Lopez joked.
She might have other things on her mind right now, though, given she’s currently homeschooling her 12-year-old twins, Emme and Max as well as Rodriguez’s two children Ella, 11 and Natasha, 15.
When Degeneres asked who was doing the homeschooling, Lopez replied: “I help with the homework. All four kids are doing virtual school right now, so I stay more on top of Emme and Max about that. Yeah, me.”
She also shared a familiar feeling amongst parents right now: “Have you seen the math they make the kids do now? It's a new math. It's crazy, and so half the time, I'm like, 'OK, let's look up that word. What does that mean?' It's been an experience for sure.”
Amongst the other celebrities who have had to cancel or postpone their weddings amidst the outbreak are Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
They were meant to tie the knot on 29 May with a reception held in the Buckingham Palace gardens. Their big day has now been postponed until further notice.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star, Mario Falcone, has also had to put his nuptials to Becky Miesner on hold. They were due to get married on 28 May but have postponed it for the time being.
If your wedding has been affected by the coronavirus outbreak, there are a number of ways you can recoup some of the money lost as a result.
