Since the coronavirus pandemic was declared, celebrities from all around the world have been offering their help and support in all manner of ways.

From Sting teaming up with Global Goals to boost the morale of those at home with live concerts through Instagram to Oprah Winfrey donating an eye-watering $10 million to the cause, the rich and famous are pitching in to do their bit.

And now Harry Styles is the latest celebrity to come up with an idea to raise money funds for the cause.

The former One Direction star is selling £21 T-shirts on his official website. The plain white tee features a black slogan printed both on the front and back.

On the front, it reads: “Stay home. Stay safe. Protect each other,” and on the back: “This T-shirt fights COVID-19 treat people with kindness.”

On the website, it explains that 100 per cent of profits from sales will be donated to the World Health Organisation’s Solidarity Response Fund which is powered by the UN Foundation.

And, if Harry’s army of loyal fans are anything like they were when he was in One Direction, we think they will probably sell out pretty fast.

Styles is well-known for his altruistic efforts though, rumoured to have once driven around LA delivering pizzas to homeless people, he has always made it clear to his fans that “being kind” is the most important quality.

In fact, earlier this year, the singer launched the Treat People With Kindness movement and created a range of merchandise, including a hair tie set, with profits distributed to local charities around the world.

A portion of the money made from his ticket sales was also donated to various charitable organisations such as Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Help Refugees and Spread a Smile.

So, if you do want to support coronavirus efforts and grab yourself an original piece of Harry Styles merch in the process we suggest you move fast.
