Jennifer Lopez goes makeup free in candid "no filter" video
We've said it before and we'll say it again: all hail Queen JLo! Once more the "Jenny From The Block" singer has proved why she's a role model to millions, taking to Instagram to share a makeup-free video, much to the delight of fans – and us.
In the caption of said video, Jen admits that there is no filter used. "No filter. ALL. ME. #ThisIsMeNow at 54, glowing and happy @JLoBeauty," she writes.
To narrate the 36-second clip (watch it for yourself here), she walks us through her skincare routine. "Just had a birthday and I feel better than ever," she says. "I'm getting ready – me, bare-faced with no makeup and my JLo Beauty products that I use every day."
Showing off her skincare collection, the superstar adds: "Here, for anybody who's like, 'JLo doesn't use her own products on her skin', I call bulls**t on you right now."
Now, as revolutionary as every JLo social media post is, this isn't the first time the singer has bared all with a filter-free post. Earlier this year, she shared yet another "get ready with me" style clip to her JLO BEAUTY by Jennifer Lopez account, giving fans a glimpse at her pre-Met Gala beauty routine.
Firstly, she prepped her skin with That JLo Glow™ Serum, which she described as her "Holy Grail". Next, Jen slathered on That Big Screen® Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Moisturiser followed by That Star Filter® Complexion Booster.
The above video ends with JLo getting her Met Gala makeup applied by a professional artist, but fans flocked to the comments section to praise her for showing her "real skin".
