Jennifer Lopez, 50, wows fans with sweaty gym selfie: 'Perfect body'

Michelle Obama isn’t the only 50-something showing off her abs at the gym.

On Sunday, Jennifer Lopez, 50, posted a post-workout selfie that had fans gushing over her “perfect body.”

Clad in a long-sleeved yellow crop top paired with grey and yellow striped leggings from her Niyama Sol line, plus a sleek top knot, the ‘Hustlers’ star flaunted her six-pack abs in the sweaty shot.

“Serving body!” read one comment.

“This is what I’m striving to look like when I’m 50,” added a fan.

“If I don’t look like this when I’m 50 throw me away,” another follower wrote, while another asked, “Do you ever age?”

Commenters raved about the star’s abs, while some noted that her gym session was no doubt in preparation for her upcoming gig performing during the Super Bowl Halftime Show alongside Shakira.

Forget “Hips Don’t Lie” — that toned tum just might steal the show.

It takes more than exercise to maintain J Lo’s toned abs, however. Earlier this year, she revealed to her followers that she had been on a “No sugar, no carbs” diet lasting 10 days.

“We’re going to call it a 10 day challenge: no sugar, no carbs, no cookies, no chips,” the actress, singer and entrepreneur told her followers on her IGTV channel.

So what exactly did J Lo’s challenge entail? It involved cutting out all added sugar and starchy carbohydrates from your diet, which includes but is not limited to bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, and ice cream.

J Lo and Alex also avoided fruits like bananas, grapes and oranges, according to US broadcaster Today who spoke to the star.
