Jason Kelce’s approach to parenting isn’t always appreciated by the women in his life.

The father of three, who is currently expecting his fourth child with wife Kylie Kelce, opened up about getting his daughters to try things during the Thursday, Feb. 6 episode of New Heights, the podcast he presents with brother Travis Kelce.

“I keep trying to get my kids to ... go and do stuff, because I feel like that’s how I overcame [fears], you just go and do it and you’re like, ‘Oh, that isn’t that bad,’ “ Jason, 37, said. “My kids won’t do it.”

Jason and Travis recalled that their dad, Ed Kelce, made them try different activities they were afraid of such as playing hockey.

“It doesn’t work for my kids, though, they act like I’m being a bad dad by forcing them to do stuff they don’t want to do,” Jason insisted. “That’s part of being a dad," he added.

“I respect it,” Travis, 35, told his older brother.

“Kylie doesn’t,” Jason noted of his wife. “She’s like, ‘I have to deal with it.’ I’m like, ‘They’ll be fine. Trust me. Ed Kelce did this to me. It’ll be good. I’m just gonna spin this little teapot around.’ “

The family recently took a trip to Disney World after Jason’s appearance at the Pro Bowl, where he said he received a key piece of advice from ESPN correspondent, Dan Orlovsky.

“I went to Disney the following day with the fam. And Dan gave me the shout-out. Said, ‘Hey. Go to the Dawa Bar, Animal Kingdom, two Jungle Juices,” Jason said. “It was perfect. It tasted great. Perfect level for walking around with a bunch of kids. It's ideal. It really made the safari 10 times better.”
