It's no secret that, in order to excel in the British military, you need to have a high level of strength and fitness. To dominate in the British Special Forces over two decades, however, is a totally different ball game. This is something that Special Boat Service (SBS) and Royal Marines Veteran Jason Fox knows all about.

Having served in the military for over two decades, 'Foxy' is well-versed in the need to build strength and fitness that goes the distance and, as part of our ongoing webseries How I Build My Body, the SAS: Who Dares Wins lifted the veil on how he stays mission-fit in his mid-forties.

Foxy's heavy-duty workout, in the video above, is all about replicating real-world scenarios — dragging casualties, lifting awkward equipment, tackling gradients at pace — when you're in the gym to strengthen and condition the body.

Foxy walks you through the exact exercises that he uses to stay at the top of his game, alongside some tips to consider if you're looking to take them on yourself. This is not your typical bodybuilding bro sesh, mind: expect heavy tyre-flips, sandbag drags, weighted sled medleys, sandbag sprints and, of course, strict pull-ups.

Attack each exercise and give the workout your best shot — just don't let Foxy down.
