Jamie Lynn Spears breaks silence with family photo amid sister Britney's troubles
Jamie Lynn Spears has broken her silence amid her older sister Britney's latest troubles. The Zoey 101 star took to Instagram on Saturday, 4 May to pay tribute to her mum Lynne on her birthday.
Jamie Lynn, 33, marked Lynne's 69th birthday with a sweet photo on Instagram. Mum of three Lynne could be seen posing with Jamie Lynn's two daughters - Maddie, 15, and Ivey, six.
"Happy birthday to my beautiful mama," I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star Jamie Lynn penned. "She has a childlike spirit that brings magic to everything she does, and we are so blessed to have her."
Jamie Lynn's post comes after it was reported that her older sister Britney, 42, had been rushed to an ambulance in Los Angeles after allegedly sustaining an injury. She was spotted exiting a Los Angeles hotel barefoot shortly before being rushed to an ambulance on Thursday, 2 May.
At around 1 am on Thursday morning Britney was seen looking dishevelled as she was escorted out of the Chateau Marmont hotel. In pictures taken at the scene, the 42-year-old was seen wearing very little clothing and covering herself up with a blanket and pillow as her security guard escorted her into a waiting ambulance.
Britney was reportedly caught up in an argument with her ex Paul Richard Soliz, reports the Daily Mail. A stretcher was later seen being wheeled out of the hotel that carried the star’s belongings.
Brian Humphrey, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department later confirmed to the Mail, that an ambulance had been called to reports of an injured female, but the patient did not require transportation to hospital. He said: “Emergency services received a call at 12.42am with reports of an adult female injured. At 1am an ambulance arrived on the premises. I can confirm no-one was transported. Services left the scene at 1.17am. The police department were not called.”
In addition to the ambulance dash, Britney herself also worried fans further when she posted a concerning Instagram message in which she claimed the photos featured a “body double” and proudly declared she was “getting stronger every day.”
In a now deleted post, Britney wrote: “Just to let people know ... the news is fake !!! Most of the pics are body doubles and I think most know that !!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday !!! Truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie???
“Goddesses out there, I’m reaching my higher power and furthermore, I hope you guys are too !!! I need a new toothbrush right now!!! PS … I need an espresso. !!! PSS … Not sure why I feel the need to share this … I guess I’m just a girl and I’m on my period so I’m bitchy … s**t !!!”
