James Argent cosies up to stunning model girlfriend Nicoline Artursson at Winter Wonderland opening night
Former TOWIE star James Argent has made his red carpet debut with model girlfriend Nicoline Artursson . The cute couple cosied up at the VIP opening night of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in London - making the outing their first red carpet appearance together. James, 36, looked sharp in a classic black coat paired with a white jumper and snowman scarf, while Nicoline, 31, looked stunning in a head to toe winter white ensemble of a faux fur jacket, flared trousers, and cosy ear muffs.
The Swedish model, who won the Miss World Sweden title in 2011, has been dating James for a few months, but the pair haven’t walked an official red carpet together - until now. The pair originally met in Marbella, Spain, where Nicoline lives and James often performs as a singer. Their relationship comes after a transformative period for the former TOWIE star, who has been open about his weight loss journey and struggles with addiction in recent years - having lost 13 stone in recent years.
Speaking exclusively to New! about James finding love, a source said that the TV star had found “the final piece of his jigsaw” in Nicoline , explaining: “His relationship with Nicoline really demonstrates how happy he is now. She’s a brilliant girl, she’s a homebody, she’s so not Essex. She’s very, very grounded and grounding for Arg. She doesn’t court the spotlight and she’s very intelligent, she’s a breath of fresh air.”

At the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland opening last night, the loved-up couple were all smiles as they posed arm-in-arm. Princess Andre, Kate Ferdinand and more celebs joined the star-studded party, which saw the Christmas spectacular open its 2024 season, which features rollercoaster rides, a sprawling Christmas market and even an ‘ice kingdom’.
Another famous face joining the festive night out? James’s ex girlfriend, Lydia Bright, who he split from in 2016 after an off-and-on seven year relationship. The former TOWIE star also walked the red carpet with her four-year-old daughter, Loretta.
However, bumping into each other wasn’t an awkward moment like it could be for some, as Lydia has previously shared that the two exes are still friends, sharing with her Instagram followers: "Yes we are still good friends and our families are very close. I will always care for Arg, we have so much history."
James recently spoke out about new girlfriend Nicoline in a sweet personal post, sharing with his followers: “I thought it might not happen for me”.
