Iris Law just debuted the haircut of the season, stepping onto the Versace runway in Milan wearing the ultimate 'pixie bowl fringe' cut. This fusion of three classic hairstyles (the pixie cut, the bowl cut and the full fringe) may sound extreme on paper, but in actuality, it's choppy, textured nature makes it surprisingly wearable.

The geometric cut sees Law's signature pixie styled in a snippy classic crop in the back with a blunt, full set of brow-brushing bangs in the front. Rounded to her ears, you could mistake the look for a true bowl cut at first glance, but its tapered fluffy edges make for a subtle give away.

Law wasn't the only celebrity sporting a dramatic cut for the show. Gigi Hadid reshaped her beach-ready wispy bob into the ultimate blunt razored 'do; meanwhile her fellow models were decked out in similarly graphic trims, from bold traditional bowl cuts to heavy, lid-scraping bangs. Not quite as wearable as Iris' playful pixie but a striking display all the same.

Often seen as a crisis cut, the fringe is notoriously one of the most statement hairstyle commitments you can make (second only to the bob). While many of us will have exiled the cut after attempting to trim our front pieces with the kitchen scissors or following unfortunate school pictures in our younger years, its safe to say the fringe has been going through somewhat of a star-studded revolution.

From Sabrina Carpenter's coveted A-line curtain bangs to Dakota Johnson and Daisy Edgar Jones' case for the fluffy full fringe, the modern face-framing options are endless - not to mention, incredibly stylish.
