Inside Strictly pro Nikita Kuzmin's trip to Iceland with stunning girlfriend in tiny bikini
He's been working up a sweat on the dancefloor with his partner Sam Quek on the Strictly dance floor for the last seven weeks, so it’s good to know that Strictly Come Dancing's Nikita Kuzmin had a bit of chill time before he embarked on the latest series of the dance show.
Back in the summer, Nikita and girlfriend Lauren Jaine headed to Iceland for a holiday. However, it doesn’t look there was much rest and relaxation on the menu as they headed to the Arctic country. In fact, there can’t have been an activity the pair didn’t try on their action-packed trip. Nikita’s posts from the holiday show the pair do everything from flying in a helicopter to plunging into the country’s natural heated spring pools and exploring underground caves.
Nikita even got a chance to try out a bit of dancing on the ice, while dressed in full show gear and helmet.

The pair have been dating since last summer and jetted off together for the trip back in August. Iceland's landscape is famous for its contrasting geological features, including deep frozen glaciers, volcanoes, lava fields, and hot springs, and it seemed Nikita and Lauen were keen to try them all.
As well as marvelling at the geysers and stunning waterfalls, the pair went out horse riding to explore further and took a helicopter ride which saw them fly over an active volcano.
The lucky pair were even treated to a spectacular show of the famous Northern Lights.
But a highlight of the trip – as it is for many visitors to the country's cold climate – must have been a dip in Iceland’s famous hot-spring pools.
Lauren sported a tiny bikini for her dip and even braved the chill to pose for photos outside the pool. Nikita, meanwhile, tried a bit of a boogie on the ice when he was wrapped up in his snow gear, but wisely avoided trying out some of the Strictly's trickier steps, unlikely to want to slip and cause an injury just weeks before the BBC1 show started back rehearsing.
Nikita and Lauren began dating in 2023 and publicly confirmed their relationship with a series of loved-up photos on Instagram in October.
Earlier this year they marked their one year anniversary. Nikita sweetly revealed his nickname for his girlfriend as he captioned the post: “1 year today. love you bibble.”
Lauren also marked their anniversary as she revealed that the pair had returned to the place where they had their very first date. Sharing a snap of her and a beaming Nikita clinking Champagne glasses in a restaurant in London’s Covent Garden, Lauren wrote: “1 year!”, tagging in her beau with a love heart emoji.
