Inside Amanda Holden's stunning transformation of £7 million mansion amid Sharon Osbourne feud

Amanda Holden has transformed her beautiful £7 million Surrey mansion into her dream home through her love of interior design, decorating the property with palm trees, leopard print, and a number of sparkling adornments.

The 53 year old Britain's Got Talent judge, who is currently in a bitter feud with Sharon Osbourne after slamming the judge for 'dissing' Simon Cowell, has recently opened up about the work she has put into her family home. Residing with her husband Chris Hughes and their two daughters, Amanda moved into her abode last November, and has swapped it's previous minimalistic design to an eclectic mix of decoration.

"I definitely feel settled… I'm obsessed with interior design and I said to my husband, 'Don't worry, this is the house for life and it will take me a couple of years to do it up' but I think the whole house will be done by June and we only moved in November so I'm already looking for another project... he'll go mental!," she told MailOnline recently.

Explaining that she the home is what she has wanted her 'entire life', Amanda even took inspiration from RuPaul for her hallway, as she recreated the drag queen's recognisable black and white diamond print flooring and peach walls.

Continuing, Amanda, who has taken her love of interior design to TV on her BBC show with Alan Carr, Amanda and Alan's Italian Job, said: "It was the perfect house, and most people would have probably moved in and kept it the same, but it was a very pale, white and grey house and it's not like that anymore.

"I am turning it into the Beverly Hills Hotel, that's my aim. I have just planted two palm trees in the garden, which makes me feel so happy."

While Amanda couldn't be happier with her home renovation, she has found herself in some hot water this week after becoming embroiled in a feud with Sharon Osbourne.

Talking in an interview with the Mail's Weekend Magazine last week, Amanda appeared to criticise Sharon and Louis Walsh's recent appearance on Celebrity Big Brother - where they dished on former boss Simon Cowell, who is a close friend of Amanda's.

She said: "I hated seeing certain people in a reality show dissing Simon - he's the person who's given them all the chances, given them a lot of money and a lifestyle they probably wouldn't have had."

But hitting back with a lengthy statement, Sharon dubbed Amanda 'bitter' and 'pathetic' as she shot down any speculation that she only had the 'lifestyle' she has because of Simon. Amanda has not publicly responded to the reckoning from Sharon.
