Injuries Reported Amid Israeli Raid on Nablus

At least eight people were injured by gunshots during an Israeli raid on Nablus on the night of August 15-16, Palestinian media reported.

Dozens more were treated for respiratory issues during the raid, the report said.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it destroyed an “explosives laboratory” and “a warehouse that contained eight ready-to-use charges.”

Palestinian media said the destroyed buildings were “a Palestinian-owned house and headquarters of the Fatah movement.”

The IDF said soldiers returned gunfire after “gunmen opened fire and hurled explosive devices,” the Times of Israel reported.

In a separate incident, IDF soldiers clashed with gunmen near Nablus early morning on Wednesday, the report said.
