India Amarteifio's 'cinnamon bun' bangs couldn't be more different to her Queen Charlotte hair
With Wimbledon in full swing (pun, ofc, intended), a flock of Royal and celebrity sightings is only to be expected. And merging the two elites together comes Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story star, India Amarteifio with her beyond regal appearance.
Just yesterday, the actor attended the tenth day of the Tennis Championships with an extraordinary hairstyle and it's one that we're calling 'cinnamon bun bangs'. That is – if you haven't already guessed – thanks to its delicious likeliness to the sweet treat.
Opposing her impressive 1700s curly 'fro that we see on the Netflix show, the following updo is giving next-level mod vibes. Debuting the architectural masterpiece, celebrity hair artist, Dionne Smith, who worked up said style took to Instagram with a four-part carousel post.
As shown, Dionne braided India's lengths and structured the plaits forward to sit at the front of her head – this creates a faux bang look. And not only that, but having twisted the braids in a circular motion makes for the cinnamon bun shape.
Speaking with Cosmopolitan, Dionne tells all about the process behind the 'do. "I wanted to create something a little different for India so she could have a real hair moment. She loves braids and so, I thought I’d stay in that realm of things.
"I, too, love braided coils, so, decided to go with that for India. I pulled a little inspo from Star Wars' Princess Leia and flipped it up to create the look."
I mean, not only is this hairstyle out of this world (read: in Galaxy's Edge) but it belongs in a museum, too! Wouldn't you agree?
Teaming up with Dionne, celebrity makeup artist, Joy Adenuga took to glam and opted for a natural, fresh-faced base and glowy flush to the cheeks, all topped off with a satin pink lip.
