I'm A Celeb's Dec shares adorable insight into 9yr marriage with wife Ali's common request

Declan Donnelly gave an insight into his marriage with wife Ali Astall in an episode of I’m A Celeb Unpacked. Following the show on Tuesday night, 19 November, Ant and Dec made an appearance on I’m A Celeb’s spin-off where Joel Dommett asked them what their luxury item would be.

Ant responded with “chocolate” while Dec replied: “Ali would probably send me a list of things to do. I get a lot of those at home so there would be, ‘PS remember to clear this out. Clear your boxes.’” This year the twist in the show was that the celebs’ nearest and dearest chose their luxury items rather than the celebs themselves bringing them into camp.

On Wednesday night (20 November) Danny Jones opened up about his mental health battles. The topic came to light as he explained what his different tattoos meant and pointed to one which reflected his anxiety. He explained: "It’s because I’m always constantly worrying, but that’s what I’m working on." Asking if he’s ever been in therapy, Danny replied: "Yeah, I’ve been in therapy since I was 19 for anxiety."

The McFly star recalled that he suffered a panic attack on live TV as he shared: "I was freaking out and I couldn’t answer the question that got asked to me." He explained that he felt the camera on him, went white and felt like he was going to be sick, as he added: "heart rate goes crazy".

Jane asked if he had suffered from anxiety since he was a child or if it was something that developed from being in the band. Danny replied: "I think I escaped a lot" before he was overcome with emotion and put his head in his hands.
