A huge 90s star looks entirely unrecognisable in her new role, having completely transformed her look. Actress Sarah Parish is among the famous faces set to star in ITV's latest comedy series, titled Piglets, which is due to begin airing in summer.

ITV says the six-part show "follows a newly recruited group of six very different would-be cops and the handful of key staff whose thankless task it is to knock them into some kind of shape". Those starring in the show alongside Sarah include the likes of Callie Cooke, Sam Pote, Abdul Sessay, Jamie Bisping, Halema Hussain and Sukh Kaur Ojla.

The team behind Green Wing and Channel 4's Campus have written Piglets, alongside ITV's Comedy Writers Initiative candidate Omar Khan. An exact launch date has not yet been given.

Sarah, 55, takes on the role of Superintendent Julie Spry in the new show. She has shared a look at her character in a new social media post, where she looks worlds away from her usual self. The actress has swapped her brunette locks for a cropped, grey hairdo and ditched glam makeup in favour of a natural look. She posted an up-close shot of herself as Julie as she shared details about her new acting role.
