She may have a ritzy career as a TV presenter, but Holly Willoughby says that motherhood is the most important job in her life.

The 36-year-old who is mum to Harry, seven, Belle, five and Chester, two, revealed in a rare interview about her family life that far from setting out to climb the career ladder, parenthood was always her biggest goal.

“All I ever wanted to be was a mum,” she told Hello! Magazine. “It wasn’t like when I was at school I thought: ‘Oh, I’m going to be this big career girl’.”

The 36-year-old, who attended last night’s Brits, explained that what she enjoys most in life is being a parent to her three children.

“Being a mummy is definitely my most favourite job of all, without a shadow of a doubt,” she said.

The ‘This Morning’ presenter, who recently celebrated her 36th birthday in a cottage with family, also opened up about the work/life juggle and how she finds a balance between her busy career and home life.

“Essentially I just have a job and children, though,” she said.

“I have the same issues as the next person, but I do feel very lucky that I’ve been blessed with three lovely children and that I look forward to going to work, because I know a lot of people don’t feel like that. If I’m going to get up and leave the kids in the morning then it has to be for something that I care about, or feel passionately about – and I’m lucky to be able to do that.”

Everything I could possibly ever want on my birthday!!!! ????????????????????????????????

The interview comes as fans speculated that Holly could be pregnant again after spotting that she refused to eat cheese during a segment on This Morning.

“Waiting for the rumours to start as @hollywills turned down cheese on @thismorning @ITV,” one fan tweeted adding a pregnancy bump emoji.

But it seems Holly was just put off by the idea of eating mouldy cheese and went on to eat several other types on the show.

Pregnancy news would come as a surprise to Holly’s fans as the popular presenter has previously stated she’s not planning on having any more children.

During an episode of ‘Celebrity Juice’, Holly admitted that both her and her best friend Fearne Cotton were “done” having kids.

After co-host Keith Lemon claimed to “hate it when people get pregnant, they ruin the show don’t they?”

Holly and Fearne both promised there wouldn’t be any more babies as far as they were concerned.

Fearne, who has two children Rex, four and Honey, one, with husband Jesse Wood, insisted: “There’s no more babies! We’re done.”

Before Holly quickly confirmed they had also ruled out more children. “We’re done,” she said.
