Holidaymakers issued urgent warning over what you should never put on luggage
You've booked your flights, packed your bags, ensured everyone has their tickets, passports, phone charger adapters and travel money.
But one crucial aspect of catching a flight that many people neglect is securing their bags. While it's impossible to prepare for every possible scenario, airlines do misplace luggage, s reported in the Mirror.
Nothing can spoil the start of your holiday more than arriving at your destination only to discover your bag hasn't arrived. One of the simplest ways to ensure you're reunited with your precious luggage if the worst occurs is to attach luggage tags to your bags.

But have you ever considered what you should and shouldn't include on these very publicly visible labels?
It's crucial to find the right balance between providing information that will help your belongings find their way back to you while also safeguarding your personal information and security, according to Mike Harvey, Managing Director at 1st Move International.
Information you should have on your luggage tag
Full name. Use your name as it appears on your passport to make it easier for airline staff to look you up and return your belongings as fast as possible.
Number. Put a phone number and international dialling code to make sure you can be contacted easily.
Email. Include an email address as that will be how some airlines prefer to get in touch - if you are extra security conscious you could even use a separate travel email address from your personal one.
