Hilary Duff Recreates Her Casper Meets Wendy Character 18 Years Later Using Fun Snapchat Filter

Don't think you have to fly to Tinseltown to unearth the magic of Hollywood.

On Monday, Hilary Duff took to Instagram to prove that there's one character she'll never forget portraying. In a side-by-side photograph, the 29-year-old Younger actress honors her character in 1998's Casper Meets Wendy, Wendy the Good Little Witch, by posting an epic throwback of herself from the film.

Sure, the cute shot is enough to get us in the Halloween spirit, but that's not what we're gawking over. Duff used a new Snapchat filter to morph into a red-caped star that seriously channels Wendy decades later. "Well just in time for Halloween @Snapchat gave me this little treat of a filter #CasperMeetsWendy #WendyTheGoodWitch #20YearsAgo?! #ahhhhhh," she wrote as the caption to the hilarious image.

So what else has the beauty been up to since starring in the spooky but adorable film? She's recently taken to the social media app to share images from her life at home and with her 4-year-old son, Luca Cruz Comrie.
