Ever noticed that Prince William doesn’t wear a wedding ring? Wondering why? Well, it’s got nothing to do with his level of love and commitment to the Duchess of Cambridge.

In fact, the Prince doesn’t even have one. Just before the couple got married, Buckingham Palace released a statement about his ringless decision, explaining that “it is simply down to personal preference. It was something the couple discussed but Prince William isn’t one for jewellery.”

Kate, on the other hand, has two gorgeous rings: one being the huge 12-carat oval sapphire ring that once belonged to Princess Diana and the other – her wedding ring – a simple gold band.

Modern marriage. It’s all about making the rules up as you go.
