Here's Where You Can FINALLY Buy 818 Tequila In The UK
The era of the slightly naff celebrity food and drink product is over. Whether it's Brad Pitt's Champagne (which was served at the Oscars, FYI) or Lewis Capaldi's quite frankly delicious-sounding pizza, celebs are starting to make genuinely good things for us to sip or munch on.
One particular celeb drinks brand we've been gagging to try is Kendall Jenner's 818 Tequila, which until now has only been available in the US. However, a full two years since its inception, it's finally available to buy in the UK from Selfridges! Prayers = answered.
First launched in 2021 by the supermodel and general reality TV icon Kendall, 818 Tequila is named after Kendall's area code for Calabasas in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles where she's lived her whole life.
It was a total sell-out success in its initial year (over 130,000 cases of the stuff, to be exact) so an international roll-out was totally on the cards.
There are three types of tequila in the range: Blanco, Reposado and Añejo, each offering different levels of intensity of flavour. If you like your tequila on the fresh side, Blanco is for you. The 818 Tequila Reposado offers something a little more honeyed and caramel-like, and the 818 Tequila Añejo offers a super rich taste with lots of fruitiness.
Kendall Jenner says of the UK launch: “I can't wait for people across the UK to experience the magic of 818 Tequila. We're arriving in London just in time for the start of spring, and I know everyone will love our delicious tequila when they try it."
The tequila will be available exclusively at Selfridges until 1st April, and then you'll be able to pick it up at Master of Malt, the Whiskey Exchange and other retailers. Does this mean we'll be seeing Kardashian-Jenner approved tequila down at Tesco Express?
You'll also be able to order it in bars and restaurants like The Savoy (fancy), Tattu, Barrio Bars, and The Cocktail Club.
