Helen Flanagan addresses Coronation Street comeback and one storyline request
Actress Helen Flanagan, who first appeared on Coronation Street back in 2000, has revealed whether she would consider a return to Weatherfield for her character Rosie Webster. Helen joined the soap when she was just 10 years old, playing the daughter of Kevin and Sally Webster.
She stayed on the series until 2012, and then returned in 2017, before leaving when she took maternity leave the following year. Speaking to The Sun, Helen said: "I would absolutely love to go back to Coronation Street. I live now where I did growing up and I've moved around so much, you know, with my ex, football and stuff, so I'm back.”
"But to be able to do Coronation Street, they would have to ask me back. Also if I went back and stuff, I'd want to be in a good storyline and what have you."

She also talked about the cobbles being a big part of her life growing up, adding: "I think I'll always kind of miss it, and I think it's almost having that excitement in your life, I've had that from such a young age I don't actually know any different. So all I've known since from being like a young age is either kind of being an actress or being in the public.”
Helen is also known for her appearances on reality TV, including the 2013 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, and the South African all-star spin-off in 2023. More recently, she appeared on the E4 series Celebs Go Dating, causing controversy when it emerged that she had started dating her partner Robbie Talbot while the show was filming and was being sent out on dates.
The pair met just days before Helen signed a contract to appear on the dating show in February, and their relationship has been going from strength to strength, with Helen recently gushing over Robbie in a birthday video. She posted a sweet video montage of highlights from their blossoming romance to mark Robbie's birthday. The pair could be seen sharing several passionate kisses, cuddling at home, giggling together and days out with their kids. Helen captioned the video: "Happy birthday @robbietalbs. The loveliest, kindest, funniest man I’ve ever met. Thank you for looking after me love you xxx."
Helen was previously engaged to Scott Sinclair, with whom she has three children, Matilda who is nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, who is three years old.
