Fast forward 27 years and Heidi Klum has resurrected said look (minus the jeans) on one of the biggest nights in American TV history. Stepping out onto the red carpet for the America's Got Talent season 19 finale, Heidi went above and beyond in both the fashion and beauty departments. While her lavender-coloured floor-length sequin gown had our jaws on the floor, what led to such feelings of 90s nostalgia was her high pigtails hairstyle. Zigazig ah.
The model's half-up half-down 'do has been styled in loose, textured waves, with a hip-skimming length and her middle-parted bangs left out to frame her face.
Emma would be proud.
To top off the glam, Heidi's MUA has opted for a purple shadowed look and to keep the attention drawn to her eyes, has finished the makeup with a lick of pinky nude satin finish lippie. Hi, hello, peak noughties inspiration, duh!
