This is where Harry and Meghan will stay the night before their wedding
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are due to marry this Saturday, and slowly more details of the day are dripping in.
Now, Kensington Palace have revealed where Prince Harry and Meghan will be being staying the night before their wedding – separately, of course.
Harry will be staying at Coworth Park in Ascot, Berkshire, with his brother and best man Prince William for his last night as a ‘single’ man.
Coworth Park – part of the Dorchester Collection – is a five-star luxury hotel with acres of surrounding land.
Harry is familiar with the hotel as he and his brother play polo on its grounds for the Audi Polo Challenge each year.
Meghan, too, has visited the hotel, watching Harry play during the tournament in the early days of their relationship in May 2017.
The grounds are roughly 8.2 miles from Windsor Castle, meaning the groom will have to make around a 20 minutes drive to his wedding on the morning of May 19th.
One night’s sleep in Coworth’s Park cheapest room costs £372, while their top tier lodgings, the ‘Mansion House Premium Suite’ (fit for the Prince no doubt), will set you back a cool £1,749 per night.
It will come as no surprise that there’s no availability at the hotel on Friday the 18th, so royal fans looking to get a first look at Prince Harry in his military attire will be out of luck.
Meghan, accompanied by her mother Doria Ragland, will be staying at Cliveden House Hotel, roughly 36 miles from where Harry will be.
Cliveden is a five-star country house hotel in Berkshire near London, and is roughly nine miles from Windsor (25 minutes or so in the car).
Cliveden boasts award-winning restaurants and a spa, where Meghan and her mum will no doubt be getting in some girls pampering time before the big day.
The hotel’s club rooms start at £445 per night, and rise steadily to the hotel’s dearest rooms, the Mansion House Suites, which cost £1,535 per night.
This is also where Meghan is expected to have her hair and makeup done on the morning of the wedding, and where she’ll get changed into that much-speculated over wedding dress.
We can already hear the press setting up camp on the hotel grounds, hoping to get a first picture of Meghan emerging…
