Hailey and Justin Bieber’s pregnancy announcement also captured another major moment of their life: Their wedding vow renewal, which took place in Hawaii on May 9, 2024. Both wore Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello for the ceremony.

The Biebers have been married for over five years now, tying the knot at a New York City courthouse in September 2018. Hailey has long been vocal about the couple’s hopes to start a family.

She told ELLE US in March 2021 that when she and Justin started dating again in June 2018, Justin was 'at a stage of his life where he could make decisions like, "I’m done with girls, and I’m done with fooling around, and I’m done with partying." We were friends first for a really long time before there was anything romantic. But we always knew that we were aligned on what we wanted in our future. We had talked about wanting to be married young and having a family young and building a life. Even before we knew we wanted to be with each other.'

She also acknowledged the hardships they’ve gone through as a couple, even in their first year of marriage. She told ELLE US in February 2020, 'When we first got married, we were just figuring out our life together. I felt like putting a wedding in the middle of all of that would be really hectic and stressful.'

Justin was also undergoing a private health battle, Hailey shared: 'He was really sick. He has Lyme disease, and he was dealing with a bunch of medical stuff. We didn’t have a diagnosis. And it was hard because everybody from the outside was being super mean and judgmental, saying he looked like he was on drugs, saying how unhealthy he looked, when in truth, he was not healthy and we didn’t know why.

'It was months of me being a new wife trying to help him figure out what was wrong and what was going on,” she added. “Now he’s perfectly healthy. But going through that and then trying to be like, ‘So where does our wedding fit into this?’ didn’t feel like the vibe at all.'
