Hailey Bieber fans 'work out' baby's gender after spotting 'obvious clue' in snap
Fans of Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber think they have "worked out" the gender of their baby after a "obvious clue" in their pregnancy announcement.
Hailey took to Instagram on Thursday, 9 May, to share their exciting baby news with a sweet video as she unveiled her baby bump for the first time. Looking radiant, the model donned a white sleeveless lace dress and matching headscarf, with her growing bump on show in the figure-hugging outfit. Justin, meanwhile, sported a backwards baseball cap, jeans, and a white shirt under a navy jacket.
The video showed the pair holding flowers during an apparent vow renewal held in a field. The vintage-style footage then transitions to a clip of the two sharing a kiss, with Justin holding what appears to be a glass of wine.
The couple shared the same post to their social media accounts, simply tagging each other in.
Eagle-eyed fans have now been speculating over the gender of the pair's upcoming bundle of joy. One fan speculated: "BOY! looks like justin is wearing navy blue hat and jacket - possible hint? its hard to tell the coloring by the pics but u can tell its blue when comparing to the dark pants hes wearing with the outfit which are obvi black.", reports the Mirror.
Another chimed in with: "A boy would be so cute but seeing Justin with a baby girl would be precious too. I hope they keep the kid out of social media though and continue keeping their relationship more private."
Meanwhile, a third was betting on: "I think maybe a boy! ! ".
Speculation about Hailey's possible pregnancy had been rife among fans, with X – formerly Twitter – buzzing with chatter that she might reveal the big news at the Met Gala. However, the couple gave the Met Gala a miss this year and just three days later they announced Hailey's pregnancy.
Celeb pals soon shared their congratulations as Kendall Jenner, Hailey's close pal, couldn't hold back her emotions, posting: "Ahhhh here come the tears again," followed by a red heart emoji. Momager Kris Jenner chimed in with her excitement, exclaiming: "We are so so excited can't wait can't wait what a blessing! ! ! ! !"
Khloe Kardasdhian gushed: I love you guys!!!!!!! I am so so so happy for you both!!! We are all soooo excited for baby!!!!" and Chrissy Teigen said: "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! You are going to be an amazing amazing mommy oh boy get ready!!! So exciting so happy for you both!!"
Justin and Hailey became Instagram official with their relationship back in January 2016 before tying the knot in a secret ceremony in New York in 2018.
Hailey is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and niece of actors Alec, William and Daniel Baldwin, while Justin was discovered as a singer online aged 13 and went on to become a pop sensation with his hits including Baby, Love Me and Yummy.
