H&M has just launched its latest designer collaboration – and it might just be one of our favourites so far.

The high street brand's first collab of the year is with emerging London-based designer Rokh, delivering a covetable collection that is full of experimental spins on wardrobe staples that feel both edgy and easy to wear.

From double-layered trench coats to pleated skirts and structured tailoring, there are plenty of workwear-inspired designs that we're adding straight to basket. Other pieces seriously tempting us include some two-tone wide-leg jeans and a cool LBD with a detachable hem.

Korean-born Rok Hwang, a former Celine designer and now the founder of Rokh, has gained a reputation for his clever, customisable designs infused with off-beat elegance (or "classic appearance with a radical construction", according to the man himself).

"Rokh is at the forefront of a new wave of Korean designers whose conceptual-yet-wearable clothes are captivating fashion right now,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor and head of design womenswear at H&M – and we couldn't agree more.

Launching in selected stores and online today, 18 April, Rokh's 58-piece collection with H&M features a mix of womenswear, menswear and accessories, with prices starting at £32.99.

It's hard to pick our favourites, but we love a stylish trench coat at Red, which is why we're investing in the double-layered H&M x Rokh style, featuring two distinct layers and a punkish studded belt. It's a unique piece that will stand the test of time – just what we look for in an investment buy.

Other highlights include Rokh's signature double belt, which you'll easily be able to accessorise with your existing pieces, as well as a beautiful pleated skirt that we can see ourself wearing again and again.

Want everything from H&M x Rokh? Us too. Just make sure you move quickly, as these collabs always sell out fast.

In fact, H&M's designer collection launches have become fashion events of their own over the years, with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld and Comme des Garcons, and more recently Rabanne and Mugler, taking part.
