The Great British Sewing Bee viewers give their verdict on new host Joe Lycett
The Great British Sewing Bee returned to BBC Two last night (12 February), introducing ten new amateur contestants as well as a brand new host.
Presenter and comedian Joe Lycett is the new master of proceedings, after Claudia Winkleman stepped down from the role last series.
But what did fans of the show make of Joe’s first episode?

Joe will host this year as the ten contestants battle to be named Britain’s Best Home sewist. As per previous years, they will be under the watchful eyes of judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young.
Joe kicked off his career as a stand-up comedian and has also hosted a BBC game show called The Time It Takes. We're looking forward to seeing more of his presenting skills as Sewing Bee continues.
The Great British Sewing Bee airs Tuesdays at 9pm on BBC Two.
