A Grammy-Winning Music Producer Has His L.A. Home on the Market for $6.4 Million
The Silver Lake neighborhood, about three miles northwest of the downtown core, is sometimes referred to as the Brooklyn of L.A. The hilly east-side enclave, which has a reservoir and a popular dog park at its geographic center, has a trendy, hipster vibe with lots of cafes, eateries, and artisanal boutiques, as well as many notable examples of innovative architecture and historical homes.
On Redcliff Street, newly listed for $6.4 million, is one of those can’t-miss dwellings that pairs the eclectic sophistication of L.A. with crisp architecture and a laid-back California lifestyle. Listed by Patricia Ruben of Sotheby’s International Realty, the home was built in 1969 with design input from pioneering Asian-American architect Hai C. Tan, and while it has undergone thorough refurbishment over the years, there are remaining elements that tie into the home’s midcentury-modern aesthetic that prioritizes seamless integration between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The seller is Canadian music producer, songwriter, and performer Adam Feeney, who used the stage name Frank Dukes for years while he worked with a laundry list of top performers, including The Weeknd, Camila Cabello, Lorde, and Post Malone, to name a few. Since 2021, he’s made his own music under the moniker Ging. Records show he purchased the Silver Lake property via a trust not even two years ago for just under $5.8 million and appears to have made few substantive changes.
The property, set on just under one third of an acre, has a total of six bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and one powder room. The main living room is the ultimate gathering space with high, up-lit ceilings and a fireplace. A bank of glass sliders opens to the swimming pool, and, on the opposite wall, another wall of windows peels open to a slender balcony set in the surrounding treetops. The nearby kitchen features Miele appliances, custom-milled cabinets, and an island snack bar, while a built-in desk space is a good spot to work on the household calendar or do homework.
There’s also a family room, but it’s the primary bedroom that is arguably the home’s crown jewel, offering a sitting area, a terrace overlooking the pool, and a spa-inspired bathroom. Each of the other bedrooms has an en-suite bath, and some have private patios. The property also features a two-story guest house that’s a perfect retreat for musicians, writers, or other creatives in need of serene space to work. It could alternatively work as a high-tech gym, a yoga studio, or a hobby space.
