Who is Grace Van Patten?
Grace Van Patten was born on November 21, 1996 in New York City and is the daughter of director Timothy Van Patten and the niece of actors Joyce Van Patten and Dick Van Patten. She attended the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School (attended by the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Timothée Chalamet), which was the inspiration behind the 1980s film Fame.

Which TV shows and films has Grace Van Patten starred in?
She made her screen debut in 2006 in The Sopranos (aged just eight years old), and has since starred in series including Law & Order, Nine Perfect Strangers, and her most recent hit Tell Me Lies. Van Patten has also made her way into film too, with roles in Stealing Cars, Tramps, Mayday and Mayday.
Speaking about the Hulu hit Tell Me Lies, Van Patten told E! News in September 2024 of her character, Lucy: ‘It is constantly learning what not to do with this show. It’s a lot of lessons in terms of how not to treat people and not to lie and to be as truthful to yourself as possible, which is really hard at that age when you're still discovering yourself.
‘I've learned a lot about my younger self and also just trying to grow through that.’
Is Grace Van Patten in a relationship?
Yes, Van Patten has been in a relationship with actor and her Tell Me Lies co-star Jackson White since 2022. The pair play Lucy and Stephen, respectively, who breakup at the end of season one in the fictional series.
‘Because we established that dynamic first season, the second season was a lot easier to switch on and off,’ the actor told E! News about their off-screen romance. ‘And we're so different from these characters, so it's honestly just an opportunity to get all of our bad feelings out so that there's none left by the time we go home.’
As for how good they are at keeping their romance off-screen, Van Patten joked: 'He is very good at that part, which is a little concerning, but he's just a very good actor.'
