Girl, three, has creepy birthday party inspired by horror film The Nun

The scariest most children’s birthday parties get is an impromptu cake fight that risks ruining the newly-painted kitchen walls.

But one girl chose a rather terrifying theme to celebrate turning three years old.

Lucia had a birthday party inspired by The Nun, a horror film from 2018.

Her older cousin Andrea shared pics of her to Twitter dressed up as a creepy nun - complete with costume as well as black and white make-up.

“So it was my cousins 3rd birthday and instead of having a normal theme she chose this,” she wrote.

Lucia can be seen standing next to a blow up nun and with a cake that also referenced the film.

In another tweet, Andrea revealed that her friends also dressed up too.

Her post has received more than 133k shares and 500k ‘likes’.

However, people were both alarmed and impressed by the Lucia’s choice of theme.

One person wrote: “I’m equal parts scared and delighted tbh.”

Another commented: “She's going to grow up to be an amazing artist or scary weirdo director and i'm 10000% rooting for her.”

A third shared: “This funny, cute, and slightly concerning.”

And a fourth added: “She is basically a real life Wednesday Addams.”

The film is about a young nun in Romania who takes her own life.

A priest with a haunted past and a novitiate investigate her story, before they are confronted by a ‘malevolent force’ that turns out to be the demonic nun.
