A lot of little girls grow up dreaming of owning the best Wendy house in the school playground but one back garden masterpiece just exceeded our wildest childhood dreams.

Two-year-old Logan from Ontario, Canada was given an incredible two-story Harry Potter themed fortress as a present from her grandparents.

Dave and Ruby Dunlop commissioned the 350sqft masterpiece in their back garden for Logan, her best friends and two younger siblings.

Boasting a remake of the Hogwarts Castle tower, Ollivander’s wand shop, Platform 9¾ and Dursleys' Privet Drive - the playhouse has become the talking point of the street.

Designed to keep the kids busy this summer (and beyond), there’s a broom-inspired swing set, slide and secret hatch alongside a wooden bridge which leads to an owlery fit for the pages of JK Rowling’s famous books.

Inside the main tower, owl-themed armchairs and a ‘Fantastic Beasts’ inspired trunk drawer take centre stage.

Meanwhile, the fortress walls are emblazoned with portraits of headmaster Albus Dumbledore alongside Harry, Ron and Hermione.

It took six weeks for Charmed Playhouses, which is based in Alberta, to create the finished product and a further three days to set up.

The family declined to reveal the price tag but customers usually pay between $15,000 to $250,000 (approximately £9,329 to £155,503) for bespoke luxury playhouses.

"It got exactly the reaction we'd hoped for. When our granddaughter came out the second time to play, she asked if she could go to 'her house',” Dave Dunlop said. “Even a month since it was set up, every time she comes outside, she spends time in it.”

“Gram and her absolutely love to have tea in the little kitchen and lose track of the time,” he continued. “You should see her face when she's using the playhouse. We're so thrilled with it.”

But the couple haven’t stopped treating their granddaughter just yet, as they plan to add a zip line from the Hogwarts tower down to the ground in the next five to six years.
