Like many Swifties, Gillian McKeith and her daughter Afton couldn't wait to see Taylor Swift storm the stage as she performed at Wembley Stadium. But the mother and daughter duo were forced to miss the Eras Tour as their tickets sadly turned out to be a scam.

Taking to Instagram to share their outrage, Afton shared a video and said: "Devastated is an understatement. Watch out for Taylor Swift SCAMMERS!!." Her mum Gillian then chimed in: "I just wanted to say we have a problem - we got scammed."

Afton, who filmed the footage while leaving the ASA Foundation Glitter Gala event in London, explained the situation further: "We had thought we bought Taylor Swift tickets but it turned out the person was lying about having the tickets and just took our tickets.

"It turns out it was a total façade and a lie to take our money."

Health nutritionist Gillian, 64, continued: "And there's been on excuse after an another and they get more fantastic as the day goes on."

The mother and daughter duo explained they not only hoped to get their money back but also would like to secure tickets for another show, which former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Gillian reassured Afton that "they would".

Taylor is now on the road in the UK for her Eras Tour and dazzled a mammoth crowd of 90,000 at Wembley Stadium on Friday night's concert (June 21). However, the superstar was forced to stop the show and called for security to help.

She said: "We need some help from just right at the end of the ramp where they are waving. Just kind of waiting until I can see that's sorted out. There we go. You guys are the best. They really care about you here at Wembley Stadium."

Taylor - who was spotted with crates of booze as she landed her private Jet in the UK - is set to storm Wembley Stadium for three nights now and will return for another five shows in August. Her sold-out concerts are expected to draw a whopping 640,000 attendees in total, injecting an estimated £300million into London's economy, according to reports.
