Gigi Hadid Rocks Victoriana Chic At VS Book Launch
Hours after hanging out with a cowboy and a cactus (you have to read this to understand), Gigi Hadid stunned at a book launch celebration the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show with her fellow Angels.
Last night, the 23-year-old attended the launch of the book Backstage Secrets: A Decade Behind the Scenes at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show by photographer Russell James in New York.
For the occasion, Hadid reunited with her VS family wearing a pristine silky white Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Bridal SS19 dress.
Cosying up with her VS colleagues Josephine Skriver, Ming Xi and Selita Ebanks, the model posed for the camera with the most glorious pair of crushed velvet silver heels (similar here) we’ve ever seen!
The Californian beauty couldn’t contain her excitement about the book on her social media, sharing several of her favourite snippets from its pages with her 40million Instagram followers.
'My childhood dream was always to be in the VS show and have RJ shoot me backstage,' she wrote over a portrait of herself in the book.
In another, she dedicated a post to Angel Candice Swanepoel to say: ‘Cuz we all know I've been obsessed [peach emoji.]
'I grew up w some of the pics in this book !!!!! They made me dream!' adding, 'and I used to do practice runway walks during VSFS commercial breaks.'
Sara Sampaio also made an appearance at the star-studded event wearing a patent leather look with chandelier-like beading on the hem of her skirt. Meanwhile, Lais Ribero showed off her curves in a figure-hugging red midi dress.
