Gary Barlow fans go wild over video of him with towering topless son Daniel lifting weights
Gary Barlow shared a video of himself and his then-18 year old son Daniel lifting weights in a garden back in 2019, sending fans wild. Gary’s son Daniel is topless in the workout video, wearing just a pair of red shorts, showing off his ripped physique, complete with impressive abs.
Take That singer Gary is more covered up than his son in the clip, wearing back Nike shorts and a black vest top with trainers. The then-48 year old took to Instagram to praise his son and gush over the teen’s dedication to his fitness. Alongside the video of the father-and-son duo pumping iron, Gary wrote: “There’s nothing I love more than spending time with my kids. Here’s a little video of Dan and me having a Father and Son training session. I’m very proud of my boy and his commitment to his fitness."
He then joked: “Don’t look at the difference in weights. Don’t notice that I’m stood a little further forward to make the size gap smaller. Lol.”

The video has resurfaced after a photo of Gary, 53 and his son, 24, went viral this week, even being discussed on daytime TV, which showed Daniel towering above his dad.
Gary’s fans commented on the weightlifting photos, with many mentioning how alike the star and his son are.
One person wrote: “Your son is the spitting image of u ! That’s crazy.” Another said: “Despite the height and the fact Dan’s lifting heavier weights, you’re like two peas in a pod!” A third person wrote: “Please can you issue a warning when you post these videos... My heart is struggling!!!!"'
Gary has three children with wife Dawn Andrews, who he met when she was a backing dancer for Take That in 1995. Along with Daniel, the pair are also parents to Emily and Daisy.
Daniel stands at 6"2, compared to his dad Gary's 5"7, reports the Express. The average height of males in the UK is 5"9, which means the Take That singer is slightly under average.
Recently, the star has opened up about his children’s lives and careers, ahead of the release of his new show, Gary Barlow’s Wine Tour: South Africa, which sees the former X Factor judge travelling around South Africa discovering wine.
