Lady Whistledown's silhouette
One of the key storylines of the third season of Bridgerton is the discovery that Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) is Lady Whistledown, the author of the ton's gossip-filled society papers.
In the first two seasons of the show, the silhouette of Lady Whistledown was intentionally ambiguous, but in a close-up clip during the third season it is clear that the papers' logo has been updated to be a replica of Penelope's silhouette instead. Could this nod to future series, in which Penelope makes her pseudonymous identity known to everybody (rather than just a select few)?
Eloise Bridgerton grabs her mother's hand twice
In an editing error, fans of the show spotted that when Francesca Bridgerton, played by Hannah Dodd, announces her engagement to her rowdy family, Eloise Bridgerton, played by Claudia Jessie, has the same reaction twice.
In the first clip, she can be seen sitting next to her mother as her younger sister announces the news as she turns to grab her mother's hand. As the camera angle widens, she can be seen having the same reaction all over again.
Lady Tilley leads Benedict Bridgerton to the dancefloor
Despite the era in which Bridgerton is set dictating that men ask women to dance, in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment from the third season, Lady Tilley Arnold, played by Hannah New, is seen initially being led by her lover Benedict Bridgerton, before she swiftly takes charge on the dance floor. The switch is believed to be a nod to her as a formidable feminist icon.
A fan of the series on TikTok, using the handle @ladywhistletok, shared the observation: '*watch closely* as Lady Tilley Arnold swaps places with Benedict and takes the lead on the dance floor. So subtle and such a cheeky move.'
They continued, saying: 'I love this way of establishing her character and personality. Well done... one of my favourite scenes..'
Eloise stole champagne from her mother's glass
Not only was Francesca Bridgerton's wedding the society nuptials of the season in the third series of the show, but it also featured a hilarious snippet of Eloise.
Highlighted by a TikTok user with the username @m. kierznii, the clip showed Eloise holding her mother's glass of champagne, before slyly transferring the remaining tipple into her own glass and swiftly drinking it.
Users on TikTok have flocked to the clip, calling it a 'mood' and reflecting how it's, 'Literally so me.' Another laughed, adding: 'I laughed when I saw that. Love the way she pours it.'
