A flight attendant has gone hugely viral on social media after sharing a type of passenger who she says is definitely her favourite, explaining that she's always happy when she has one on board.

Jeenie, who goes by @Jeenie.Weenie on the platform and is also a travel influencer with a staggering 11 million followers, posted a video three days ago on Saturday, November 30, with the caption: "A flight attendant's favourite type of passenger."

In the short space of time since it was first shared, it's already racked up over a million views and almost 500 people have commented on it.

The clip starts with Jeenie dressed as a member of the cabin crew, talking to a second flight attendant (who is also played by Jeenie) while the plane is filling up with people and passengers are being welcomed on board.

Jeenie one seems to be assessing each person as they walk past her. Jeenie two asks if she's looking for an "ABP" which stands for able-bodied passenger.

For those not in the know, ABPs are passengers selected by the cabin crew to help in an emergency. They might be asked to assist other passengers, help with an evacuation, or deal with an unusual or worrying situation.

A few years ago, a former flight attendant named Carrie told The Sun what they look for when selecting an ABP.

She explained: "At the door, whilst greeting passengers and checking their boarding card, I would make a very quick assessment to see if they were well, coherent, could understand me and looked fit and healthy."

She added: "It may come out they are fireman, in the army, an off duty pilot or cabin crew or a doctor, which is all useful information."

However, in the clip the first Jeenie says that she isn't on the lookout for an ABP, she's actually keeping her eyes open for an "ABPP" - which the video goes on to explain stands for "Able Bodied People Pleaser."

A people pleaser is a type of personality defined as "someone who consistently puts others' needs before their own, often at the expense of their own," and that certainly comes across in this clip.

The ABPP, also played by Jeenie (in a long blonde wig this time), is shown as being super polite, extremely apologetic and overly helpful - to the extent that she ends up doing the cabin crew's jobs for them.

Instead of helping in an emergency, she ends up helping hand out drinks and snacks so that the flight attendants don't have to.

She won't let the any of the cabin crew lift a finger. She insists on going to the back of the plane to get her own refreshments, then offers to restock the snack trolley before happily volunteering to take water to another passenger.

All in all, it's basically like having an extra staff member.

Fascinated viewers flooded the video's comment section to share their opinions about the unusual term, which seems to have been coined by Jeenie herself.

One person - who is also a flight attendant - said: "I remembered we had this (passenger), she was bored on a 14hr flight and then she asked if she could help us in the galley."

Another added that they often volunteer to help the cabin crew as "its much more interesting than just sitting".

Other "people pleasers" in the comments said that although they'd never thought to do it before, they'd absolutely love to help the staff out and they were going to offer the next time they flew anywhere.

Also, several people said that the passenger in the video reminded them of their mum, with one writing: "OMG my mom is literally that type of person."

However, being polite and self sufficient isn't the only way to get flight attendants to like you. Earlier this year, Utah-based mom and influencer Cierra Mist, who has over three million TikTok followers, uploaded a video captioned "travel hack that works every time," where she explained a surefire way to charm the cabin crew.

In Cierra Mist's video, she says that the best way to get perks like upgrades or free unlimited drinks on a flight is to tip the cabin crew with a gift card as a present.

She goes on to explain in more detail that "if you want the special treatment, bring us a gift card. Doesn't matter if its a five dollar, ten dollar, hundred dollar or even one dollar gift card, we're not going to find out on that flight anyway. Just bring us a gift card."

So there you have it. If you want to be the ultimate "ABPP", bring the staff a present as well as doing their jobs for them. You'll be the most popular passenger of all time.
